Sentry Investments/MLSE – By the Numbers

Prior to the 2014/15 NHL Season, Mansfield was tasked with coming up with a digital content for The Toronto Maple Leafs on behalf of our client Sentry Investments. Using my knowledge of social media, fan engagement and sports, I came up with the concept for By The Numbers, a post-game graphic containing the score, key information and statistics from that night’s match-up.

The graphics were well received by fans and eventually expanded to include Toronto Raptors content as well.

For the 2015/16 NHL Season, an online application was developed to automatically create the graphic using official game data from NHL.com or NBA.com. This reduced the chance of human error while entering in game statistics. The graphic was continued for a number of seasons.
